In Lighthouse Point, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Florida, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Lighthouse Point is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lighthouse Point follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I recently visited and the coffee here is so good. I love having a classic coffee shop mixed with such an iconic ice cream place in Lighthouse Point. The service has improved so much too β everyone is super friendly and welcoming. I also loved the new decoration and all the new products, thereβs so much more variety now. The breakfast sandwich and the cafΓ© con leche were amazing, and for ice cream I definitely recommend the Stellar Coffee or the Toasted Coconut flavors. Definitely one of my favorite local spots lately.

Wow how this shop has changed since the new ownership took over. The atmosphere went from joyful and friendly to dour and dull. This went from being an amazing gem of a neighborhood shop to another no-personality franchise location. No identity at all and today I learned about the CC fee. Not from a sign posted clearly by the register but simply from the total. The prices went up significantly after the ownership change and are now exorbitant, but a CC fee also? So sad that after years of loyal patronage I will not be going back in. Cuban Cafe is a cookie cutter disappointment and they've dragged this wonderful little iced cream shop down with them.

We went once and loved it. We were excited to be able to support a new local place (loved the old frosty point too). Have tried to go TWICE since and on BOTH occasions walked in and no one there to help. Waited 5-10 minutes and no one came out to help or take order. Ended up walking out empty handed and annoyed. Tried calling the number connected to business and no answer.

Very cute ice cream shop, but the customer service is lacking (a lot). Also super overpriced. The lady that helped us said maybe 2 words to us the entire time, and that was to tell us how much. I asked where the spoons were, and she rolled her eyes and pointed to where the register was. There was no "welcome in" or "how can I help you guys today?". Zero personality, super unfriendly. The carousel and the fact that the shop was clean and cute is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. Ice cream was good, but could use better employees to serve it.

Try it, you won't regret it! I got the butter pecan fudge (might be named something else) and it was DELICIOUSβ£οΈ I have been craving it ever since!! The owner (I assume) was so delightful and the prices were quite reasonable! 5 stars all the way around!!
